Holidays in Sidari, Corfu

Sidari has always been popular with families and singles alike, thanks to its excellent beaches and relaxed atmosphere. The main beach offers a 2mile curve of sand and shingle, which offers safe swimming and a decent selection of watersports. Past Sidari's small harbour, and the small creek known as the Canal D’Amour (single ladies will allegedly meet the man of their dreams if they bathe here!), there are a series of sandstone coves which have been eroded by the sea into strange-shaped rock formations. Each cove has formed a natural swimming pool, with its own tiny sand beach, and warm shallow water - great fro children!

Sidari's main street is lined with shops and a good choice of tavernas and bars. In the evening, Sidari lively without being too wild, and there are a couple of good discos.

Corfu airport is around 90 minutes from Sidari.
